This is Peter
As a former journalist and marketing creative, he started Saint Basics' mission for 'cleaner underwear' in 2009. That's underwear without the usual sh*t like pollution, child labour and unfair trade.
...and this is Anita
She's the heart behind our client services and the soul of our collection. Together with the rest of our team, Anita and Peter aim to supply you with FeelGood basics that you can truly love. We're based in the Netherlands, but we live and work in Portugal.
Our history
We initially started with exclusively GOTS certified cotton products. But even organic cotton isn't ideal. That's why we crowdfunded an innovative, super-sustainable eucalyptus collection. As a side effect, 10% of Saint Basics is now owned by its customers.
Good gets better
Today our main collection is made of TENCEL™ eucalyptus and it's about 95% more eco-friendly than conventional cotton. And our production is even CO2 negative!
